KEVIN GUEST HOUSE HOSTS SUPPER IN THE STREET EVENT
Fundraising event will feature a catered farm-to-table meal served at the longest dinner table in Buffalo, in the middle of Ellicott Street and a take home option.

BUFFALO, NEW YORK (September 10, 2022) – On September 10th from 5:30-9 p.m. Kevin Guest House invites the community to Supper in the Street – a fundraising event in the middle of Ellicott Street. Tickets are available at https://kevinguesthouse.com/events/supper/ – individual tickets are $150 and tables of eight are $1,000.

The event will feature a three course, family-style dinner prepared by Lake Life Cafe. The meal is made possible thanks to generous donors such as: Costanzo’s Bakery, Russell’s Steak, Chops & More, and Rich Products. Guests can enjoy tasty samples before dinner provided by FIFCO, Pepsi Co., Pie O Mine, Six Friends Cabernet, 42 North and Lake Life Cafe. Supper in the Street brings our nightly volunteer-led-dinners, a KGH favorite, from our dining room to the street for the greater community at large to enjoy.

Additionally, there is a take out option available for people who prefer a more intimate experience on their own street. Prepared for a pair or group of eight, enjoy the same delicious meal at your own home, meal pick up is at KGH from 1-3 PM. Upgrade to VIP for additional appetizers, wine and delivery.

All proceeds will benefit Kevin Guest House and their mission to provide a comfortable and supportive home away from home for patients and their families traveling to Buffalo for medical care.

“Kevin Guest House has always been committed to providing the comforts of hospitality, communal meals and accommodation for patients and their families,” said Lynsey Weaver, Executive Director of Kevin Guest House. “Through this special event, we are sharing this spirit of breaking bread with our neighbors. We thank our team, volunteers and sponsors for their investment in making this a unique experience that will help support our ongoing work.”

“My husband and I came up with the idea after serving a meal as a volunteer to the patients and caregivers staying at Kevin Guest House and seeing how wonderful a home cooked meal meant to the families needing to be close to the hospital for their loved ones. We thought what better way to exemplify one of the favorite parts of Kevin Guest House for guests and volunteers and create one long dinner table where the community can experience the same thing in the middle of the street,” said Karen Fashana, co-creator of Supper in the Street.

As part of event accommodations, Ellicott Street will be CLOSED between High and Carlton Streets from Friday 9/9 at 9 a.m. through Sunday 9/11 at 10 a.m.

Kevin Guest House thanks all event sponsors including the McCarthy Tents & Events, Hodgson Russ, LLP, Rich Products Corporation and National Fuel (Platinum); Berardi Immigration Law, Highmark Western New York, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Trusted Choice Homecare and Colonial Wine & Spirits (Gold); AAA, Independent Health, John E. Roberts Funeral Home, Delta Sonic, Singer Legal PLLC and Latina Boulevard Foods (Silver); and Buffalo Spree, Costanzo’s Bakery, JHDodman Company, Maureen’s Buffalo Wholesale Flower Market, The Martis Family, The Guzinyas, Upstate Pharmacy and Windsor Turner Real Estate (Heart).
