Dinner Groups Continue to Serve in New Ways

The Dinner program at KGH is a favorite for both guests, and for volunteers. While we work to maintain the safety of our guests through the COVID crisis, volunteers are unable to be cooking in the house as they had in the past. We are so grateful to our many regular volunteers, who have continued to support our guests by providing meals delivered from local restaurants, safely preparing and packaging food with no-contact delivery to the house, or providing gift cards allowing the guests to choose meals in accordance with their dietary restrictions. The experience is not quite the same, but for our guests, it still makes life a little easier while they are away from home, and provides the comfort of knowing that they are cared for during and especially challenging time.
