Seeking part-time Daytime Weekend & Relief Coordinators
The Day Shift Weekend & Relief Coordinator(s) position (PART-TIME) is shared by multiple individuals who rotate weekends and coverage for our Resident Manager during the day on Saturday & Sunday from 7am to 3:30pm (8.5 hours shift with un-paid meal break). We are looking for one or more individual(s) to join the team. Sunday shift coverage is preferred, occasional Saturday shift available. This is an ideal position for a college student, preferably graduate student who needs extra funds and work short hours.
Weekend relief support position for the Resident Manager includes at least one day per weekend. If interested, occasionally can do additional hours can be added to provided relief coverage on additional evening or overnight shifts for the Resident Manager. On-site management of Western New York healthcare hospitality house during weekend day shifts as resident coordinator. Responsibilities include residential operations, guest services, housekeeping and maintenance, volunteer supervision, basic accounting and administrative support. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the hospitality house mission and compassionate to patient family needs. Ability to multi-task and stress management training preferred.
Shift Schedule – can chose to do one or both shifts. Manage shift coverage with other weekend coordinators.
Saturday Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Sunday Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (preferred position to fill first)
Hourly Rate: $14.20/hour for on-site work hours and when called to duty during on-call.
Potential additional hours when available: Evening Weekend & Relief Coordinators work on Saturday & Sunday overnight as well as fill in for Resident Manager during the weekday from 5pm to 11pm and overnight. If team members need day off, will be trained to cover Evening overnight shifts for potential additional hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in human services, hospitality or social work a plus; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data base operations a must.
- Ability to perform physical requirements and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Prior housekeeping, resident supervision or janitorial experience encouraged.
- Undergo a background check and daily health screening.
